Just enjoy the moment guys with the new diorama sea warfare from US Navy. As usual, my patience has been paid by mee wan with marvelous and superb diorama from him. LHD 7 Iwo Jima has decorated with CG 47 Ticenderago to imagine what if amphibious operation will be conducted during the sea battle with CG 47 fired missile on enemy vessel.

USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) is a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship of the United States Navy. The ship was named for the Battle of Iwo Jima of World War II. The ship was commissioned in 2001 and is currently in service. The Wasp class is a class of Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) amphibious assault ships operated by the United States Navy. Based on the Tarawa class, with modifications to operate more advanced aircraft and landing craft, the Wasp class is capable of transporting almost the full strength of a United States Marine Corps Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and landing them in hostile territory via landing craft or helicopters. All Wasp-class ships were built by Ingalls Shipbuilding, at Pascagoula, Mississippi. There are 8 WASP ship that has been build and operated until today.

USS Ticonderoga (DDG/CG-47), was the fifth to bear the name, was a guided-missile cruiser of the United States Navy. Homeported in Pascagoula, Mississippi, the "Tico" was the lead ship of her class.Ticonderoga was the first combatant ship to feature the Aegis combat system (a limited version of the system had been tested on Norton Sound). This allows the ship to track and engage multiple targets (aircraft) much more effectively than any ship previously. The Ticonderoga already decommissioned on early November 2004.
