1/48 Unimax USMC AH1 -W SuperCobra Iraq 2008
Normal day Easy day in good mood weekend day. Tomorrow are Blues Monday to all worker person like me. Unimax already make my wishes become reality when that company announced new scaled 1/48 Attack Helicopter AH1W SuperCobra. This model is based on original SuperCobra assigned in Iraq 2008 in firefight to overcome insurgency sunni iraqi around 2008.
The AH-1 Cobra was developed in the mid-1960s as an interim gunship for the U.S. Army for use during the Vietnam War. The Cobra shared the proven transmission, rotor system, and the T53 turboshaft engine of the UH-1 "Huey". By June 1967, the first AH-1G HueyCobras had been delivered. Bell built 1,116 AH-1Gs for the U.S. Army between 1967 and 1973, and the Cobras chalked up over a million operational hours in Vietnam.
AH1W Supercobra has been introduced to USMC in 1986 based on failure proposal USMC to buy AH64 Apache. AH1W most advanced Cobra with new powerful engine and new weapon system which it can fired up sidewinder missile and Hellfire missile.
