1/350 Dragon US Navy USS Dallas(SSN 700), Los Angeles Class
Happy Wesak Day to all Malaysian Buddhist community, Long time I'm forgot to share my navy submarine vessel that in my collection among 2 years ago. USN USS Dallas SSN 700 from Los Angeles Class Submarine under served US Navy. USN Dallas is one of Nuclear Submarine Class in US Navy services. It has been launched 1981 and served around 30 years and has planned to retire in 2014 with final destination of this Submarine displayed off in Dallas Maritime Museum.
USS Dallas carry about 25 torpedo tube-launched weapons and capable of launching Tomahawk cruise missiles horizontally (from the torpedo tubes) with 12 dedicated vertical launching system (VLS) tubes for launching Tomahawks.
USS Dallas sensors and processing systems equipped with BQQ-5 Suite which includes Active and Passive systems SONAR, BQS-15 detecting and ranging SONAR, WLR-8V(2) ESM receiver, WLR-9 acoustic receiver for detection of active search SONAR and acoustic homing torpedoes, BRD-7 radio direction finder,BPS-15 RADAR
