1/35 Academy US Army Humvee M1151 HMMWV
Happy Merdeka Day to All Malaysians people Today. 56 Years already after Tunku Abd Rahman announced Merdeka Sign in 31-08-1957. So today as public holiday in my country, my latest collection is US Army Humvee M1151 HMMWV from Academy Brand and built up from my modeler in Sandakan. The M1151 HMMWV was an improved armament carrier configuration of the HMMWV family. The M1151 HMMWV had the heavier chassis and improved engine of the M1113 Expanded Capacity Vehicle, which enabled it to use of removable add-on armor protection that provided the Army greater flexibility when deploying units. The M1151 was standard with the basic armor package of earlier generation HMMWVs, but was designed to accept the various armor packages developed to bring it to a similar level of protection to that of an Up-Armored HMMWV.
