1/72 Witty Wings US Navy F14A Tomcat VF 84 Jolly Rogers Squadron
Hello and good greetings everybody. Thank you because still followed my blog for new update of my scaled model collection. Today i will like introduced my new diecast collection squadron after F4 Phantom, F14 Tomcat the legacy after the best performance from F4 phantom in US Navy service. This fighter aircraft I already have in 1/48 scaled which it can from F14A VF1 Wolfpack Squadron (Tomcat Wolfpack). The VF 84 is equipped with F14A Tomcat in order to replace all F4 phantom fleet in their inventory during the year of 1975. The first F14A from VF 84 Jolly Rogers has been serviced in USS Nimitz 1977 and retired from US Navy in 2005 together with VF 84 sqd but the insignia of jolly rogers still been with VFA 103 squadron. This squadron has been serviced in every major conflicts that involved US Navy including the Operation Desert Storm in Middle East 1991.
